Taking the Leap into Entrepreneurship
Launching a website, blog, and podcast all within a few weeks might seem like a lot (because it is), but this is the creative side of business ownership that truly lights us up. So, why not dive in headfirst?
We believe in becoming our best selves, building a business we’re proud of, and helping others do the same. We’re a couple who embraces change, figures out what works, grows in leadership, and strives to love people well. We enjoy long walks with mountain views, meaningful conversations over meals with friends, and—of course—coffee. Lots of coffee.
How We Got Here
Our journey into the life insurance industry started with a realization: you have to see it before you can want it. And that was us.
When we saw the opportunity to build a business from home, together, while creating passive income that could one day be passed down to our future children, we knew we had to go for it. The idea of skipping the corporate 9-5 burnout and building something of our own was too exciting to ignore.
So, on October 28th, 2022, we both quit our 9-5 jobs and went all in on our insurance business.
Would we recommend that everyone take the leap exactly like we did? Probably not. But we learned fast—what to do, what not to do, and how to make it work. Looking back, this journey has been a blessing. We’ve worked hard, faced challenges together, and come out stronger. Today, we’ve achieved agency ownership, and the business we’ve built will stay in our family forever.
Why Life Insurance?
We know what you might be thinking… Life insurance? Really? There’s nothing that sounds remotely fun or creative about that industry. And honestly, we used to feel the same way.
But here’s what changed our perspective:
It’s one of the most recession-proof industries out there.
It allows us to build a business with real impact—helping families protect their financial future.
It creates financial freedom, allowing us to work from anywhere and design our lives on our terms.
Most importantly, it has given us the ability to help others do the same.
